Hunt Board

A job and grant board that pulls live listings, scores them against a resume, and checks every tailored line against what the resume actually says.

Public board: 844 open listings from 6 sources whose terms allow it, live since November 2026

The public Hunt Board: a search for jobs and grants above a list of live listings, each credited to its source.
The public version at thehuntboard.pages.dev, captured November 2026: 844 open listings from 6 sources whose terms allow it.
Problem
Listings are spread across dozens of sites, and AI resume tailoring tends to make up experience.
My role
Solo builder: feed integrations, scoring, the application tracker, tailoring with a fabrication guard, a Mac wrapper app and a health check.
Shipped
A private dashboard, Mac app and CLI for my own search, plus a public board anyone can use with no sign-up.
Stack
  • Python standard library
  • SQLite
  • RSS and public JSON APIs
  • Claude Code CLI
  • Swift WKWebView app
Outcome
  • Private board: 11 live feeds and 22 one-click searches
  • Private board: 214 tests in the gate
  • Four eval suites run on real model calls: resume parsing, tailoring, job fit and picks
  • November 2026 runs scored 96 to 100 percent, each suite against its own pass bar
  • The fabrication guard closed a real leak where stray phone digits let an invented "10 years" through

About me

Wilfredo Baez

Hi, I'm Wilfredo. My degree is in biology, but I kept getting pulled toward technology I could build with.

Before engineering I was deep in AI and crypto, and I ran my own digital magazine. It taught me to learn new tools fast and to make things for real readers.

Then I made the move into AI engineering. I direct AI coding agents the way a lead directs a team: I write the spec, review small changes, and accept nothing on trust. Every build here has a test gate, and anything that sends, publishes, pays or deletes waits for my approval.

Along the way I worked tech support at Apple and Geek Squad, and I run Elevare Solutions, a small studio that builds websites and tools for local businesses.

Now I'm looking for my chance: a founding or early engineering role where I can own a product from its first useful version onward.
